WinterFest is a great reason to celebrate winter and enjoy all Jim Thorpe has to offer.
February 17th -19th is the 30th Annual Jim Thorpe Winterfest celebration features, luminaries, ice carvings and ice bars, live entertainment, train rides, horse drawn carriage rides, food and drink specials, and of course the famous Mug Walk. We're adding more fun with a shopping passport to accompany the mugs. Every purchase counts toward an entry to a bigger grand prize: The Ultimate Jim Thorpe exeperience. And, this year, the Mauch Chunk Ballroom will host a Winter Wonderland with a yoga & dance party to kick off the festivities Saturday at 9am.
Wander along Broadway, West Broadway and the iconic Race Street where you will experience Victorian architecture like nowhere else. The best part is, the spectacular winter views from all over town are free.
