Dark thoughts. Disturbing feelings. There's so much going on now and it's starting to weigh you down. Not to mention, keep you up at night. Worrying excessively about well, everything - is a just another side effect of 2020. But my friend, the more you associate with fear, the more fear rules your life.
Much of the anxiety & worry you're experiencing is not necessarily an accurate reflection of what is happening. You may make things worse for yourself by over-thinking or obsessing over the worst-case scenarios. If you're not sleeping well, if you're experiencing frequent nightmares maybe it's time to reach out for help. You don’t need to do this alone – enlist the support of others to help you get through this dark period. Friends may help you to see the light at the end of the tunnel and lead you towards a solution or a sense of peace despite your troubles. An objective, third-party perspective will help you find your way out.
Examine everything from a new, perspective. Don't look for evidence of what's going wrong, pay attention to what is right. Take a deep breath.
Life is not as dreadful as it seems.
