Here's a new exercise. But it's also your reading.
Grab a pen and paper.
I want you to look at this card below. Don't think about what you need to know. Just look at the card and feel what you feel. What is it that comes to you immediately?
Look at the card. Ask yourself, what image do I see? What comes to you mind immediately? What exactly is in the image? What colors? Do you smell anything? Close your eyes. Can you place which tarot card this is?
Can you delineate if it's a suit card or major arcana?
Don't force it. Write it down. Feel it. Take your time.
Try to be non biased or non emotional when you look at the image.
We're going to uncover it below.
Did you see purple? or darkness? Did you smell smoke or feel warm? Did you feel excited hopeful?
Write all the things you see/felt/smelled/ intuited down. Every time you do an exercise like this you are deepening your intuition. You're cultivating a personal language between you and the unseen and there is no right or wrong. It's YOUR very own language. It's important to NOT rely on other people to tell you what is happening in your own life. Intuition is available to everyone and when it's tapped, opened and utilized you become more powerful than you know.
So what does this card mean to you? The Ace of Torches? Outside of the traditional meaning? Write down how it feels to you. What part of your life does it speak to?
Here's what The Ace of Torches (Wands) means traditionally.
This card represents pure potential especially in the spiritual, energetic realm.
Ideas are flowing motivating & inspiring you to pursue a new path.
You're open to receiving new opportunities that align with your Higher Self.
A whole world of possibility is available to you.
Follow your heart. This card gives you a gentle nudge to pursue / live your passion. Start out small. Then, if it feels good, keep doing it; if it doesn’t, adjust and try again. Let your energy, dedication and motivation be your guides.
Even if you prefer to plan out everything before you begin down a particular path, the Ace of Wands wants you to listen to your instincts and follow your gut. The important thing is that you act now rather than spending more time planning or researching.
Keep in mind, Aces represent potential but not guaranteed results. The Ace of Wands (or any Ace) is a seed that has yet to grow into something more substantial or sustainable. The opportunity on offer shows great promise, but it will be up to you to maximise it for the long term. See this as the spark needed to fuel a massive fire, but remember that the flash itself is not enough to keep the flames burning.
You may be interested in taking a class or investing in a course so you can follow your creative spirit. Trust that this experience will open you up to even more possibilities.
There are 2 exercises/ Sundays/weeks left in the year.
2 more until I leave you with these exercises that you can go back to and write down and I'll see you in the wild or in the astral.
I'm taking a time out to plan Jim Thorpe's Winterfest festival. It's a milestone event, the 30th one and I'm excited to chair it.
I'm also working on a few more creative projects & that have been sitting very close to my heart and want to give birth to in 2023 and want to dive deeply into the realm of a coven I've joined to better myself as a witch, feminist and philanthropist in our world.
I'm realizing that as I move towards these things the less time I spend on line the better.
If you'd like a Winter Solstice greeting and prayer, DM me your address. I'm happy to mail one to you and am signing off today wishing you all the love XO MG
